With the approach of Tropical Storm Karen, the Nicholls Emergency Preparedness Committee has initiated a Phase I alert in accordance with the university’s Hurricane Emergency Plan, posted at emergency.nicholls.edu.
We will continue to monitor the status of the storm and will take additional action if necessary.
Classes at Nicholls have not been canceled at this time.
University employees are asked to refer to the Phase I information in the Hurricane Emergency Plan and enact the procedures established for your department.
